Malta Promotes Quality and Sustainable Tourism under New EU Strategy

On 6 November, Malta welcomed the European Union Strategy for Sustainable Tourism, with its Tourism Minister calling for tourism growth that prioritises quality, resilience and protection of natural and cultural assets. No dedicated funding amount was announced. The initiative creates opportunities in sustainable tourism, environmental assessments and responsible destination development.
