Kenya Seeks Private Capital for Its US$27 Billion Infrastructure Programme

On 5 November, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki promoted Kenya’s National Infrastructure Fund to international investors, presenting a US$27 billion infrastructure investment programme and US$2.7 billion in initial capital. The government aims to attract additional private investment through commercially viable projects and risk-sharing arrangements. This creates opportunities for investment advisers, financial institutions and project-finance specialists. HPC can support financial research, investor engagement and project-development planning.
